Staring Has Never Been More Fun

Just when I thought that I had run out of ways to waste my life away, I found "The Stare Game." If you've ever played this game in real life, you know how wonderfully pointless it is. You stare at another person until one of you blinks and, consequently, loses. This version is mildly diverting, but still flawed. For one thing, it requires the presence of another person for it to work. Well, now you can play it against a non-living, badly drawn representation of an actual person. Thanks to the internet stare game, my weekends are booked for months to come. Thank you, Mr. Internet.

Truth be told, my internet connection at work has been very spotty. One minute it works, 20 seconds later it stops working. They're having problems with the T1 line and switching companies so things are kind of in limbo. Telecommunications companies are notoriously slow about installing new lines.

Don't I have such delicious excuses? Never fear, I will post soon -- if not this week, then for SURE on Monday, since I'll be coming home from an interesting weekend with my French friend Pierre (who I've posted about before). He's always good for a post.

Love and monkeys! Bye now.

Hey there J! Saw an episode (do you call them episodes anymore?) of I love the 70's today about Sea Monkeys. Made me think of you and your sea monkeys, real monkeys, real monkey groin...

Well Jer, you win the gold medal in finding the most idiotic thing on the internet this month. Congratulations. This one's a winner!

It's a nice metaphor for all the idiocy in my web-browsing.

K: My sea monkeys are still alive. Sometimes I don't feed them just so they will die, but they never do. They are abominations.

Grace: Best not believe me. That's a good rule of thumb.

Nardac: Well, thank you. I have never before won a gold medal, unless you count all those times at the olympics. Glad I could bring some idiocy to your day.
