The Pschitt Book

The "Pschitt Book" is now officially online for your viewing pleasure. No longer will it have to remain stuffed away in some box which I can no longer locate. Now the whole world can see it, meaning the world of people who read my blog (population: 2).

What is the Pschitt Book?
It is a short "book" of photographs I took four years ago while living in France. When I got home, I scanned the photos and fixed them up in Photoshop.

What is Pschitt?!
It's a French soda.

What does Pschitt mean?
In French it is pronounced "psheet," or the noise a soda can makes when you open it. But in English, it is pronounced "pshit," or the stuff you deposit when you visit the restroom.

Who are in the photographs?
Me (at age 20), a couple friends, and of course the lovely Pschitt himself.

This is dumb. Why would you waste your time?
Shut up, you.

This book fills me with giggles and glee! My favorite one is "Holy Pschitt!" Looks like you discovered Mr. Potato Head's long lost cousin, Mr. Pschitt Head!

Holy Pschitt was contructed from a Pirate Mr. Potato Head doll making him indeed Mr. Pschitt Head.

What other wonderful hybrid characters could we make?

Strawberry Shortpschitt?
Teenage Mutant Pschitt Turtles?
Pschitt-man and the Masters of the Universe?

The possibilities are endless.

Yes! Have you ever seen the fashion line, "French Connection UK"? All of their clothing features some kind of play on the initials, 'f c u k'. Wanna fcuk? Don't give a fcuk. We could do the same thing with Pschitt! Pschitts and Giggles. No Pschitt, Sherlock. Oh man. Too much fun...

Haha.. I have seen FCUK stuff, but didn't know what it stood for. Yes, there are endless possibilities for Pschitt (I like your "Pschitts and Giggles") but, of course, Pschitt doesn't do marketing. It's an off-brand, generic soda, like Mr. Pibb or Dr. Thunder. Such a shame.

fcuk stands for: French Connection United Kingdom. There's a clothing store called the French Connection, and a few years back they started printed "fcuk" on their shirts. It's catchy but I don't think I'd wear it.

again, this is Jill. :D

Hi there Jill. I read about your missed exam on Inklings. Hope you do well on the rescheduled one!

Jean: I looked up Pschitt on the web, since I realized I have never before done so. Here's an interesting link:

It seems the book now has the power to cause insane veneration. We must stop it before it's too late! Run, Mr. What. RUN!

So much running!
